Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Travel Bounties ("we", "us", "our") at travelbounties.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Travel Bounties. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and account. One account per person. You must provide accurate information. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Impersonate others or use abusive content in display names
- Use app data for commercial purposes without permission
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
Content Ownership
- Bounty descriptions, destination content, and app design are owned by Travel Bounties or used under license (e.g., Unsplash images under the Unsplash License).
- Your personal data (trips, favorites, completions) belongs to you — we have a limited license to use it to operate the service.
- Travel Bounties does not currently support user-generated content such as reviews or comments.
Service Availability
Travel Bounties is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice.
Limitation of Liability
- Travel Bounties is not liable for any travel decisions you make based on bounty information.
- Bounties are suggestions for travel experiences, not endorsements or safety guarantees.
- You travel at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety.
- We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party content including map data and images.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Travel Bounties shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Future Changes to the Service
We may introduce premium features, subscriptions, or advertising in the future. Paid features will have separate terms. Free features available at the time of your registration will not be removed or placed behind a paywall without reasonable notice.
Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time via Settings. Upon deletion, all your data including profile, trips, completions, and achievements will be permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. For material changes, we will notify you via email or in-app notice. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction — to be determined upon business registration]. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
